Change Management Plan Template

01

Change is messy... but your comms plan doesn't have to be

New system, reorg, leadership change, return-to-office update... Whatever the thing is, you're usually somewhere in the middle trying to answer: Who needs to know what? When? From whom? And how many times do we need to say it?

Our free change management plan template gives you a place to sort through all of that before the messages start flying. You can't control every twist and turn of a change, but you can have a really good spreadsheet. 😉

The secret to being a trusted adviser isn't comms expertise...

...It's business expertise!

PepsiCo's Rebekah Metts-Childers says communicators need to walk into leadership conversations already understanding the company's priorities and pressures. That's what lets you challenge the inevitable “Can we put this in the newsletter?” request with a much better question: How does this help us achieve what the business is trying to do?

Our most popular webinar ever is back!

Turns out, a lot of us are trying to figure out how to spend less time reacting to “Can you send this?” requests and more time communicating with an actual strategy behind us.

So, we’re bringing back our most popular webinar, with a 2026 refresh! Tomorrow, Jamie and Devin will walk through how to audit what’s working, connect your comms goals to the business, reach employees wherever they actually work (frontline included!), and figure out where AI can lighten the load.

Plus, you’ll leave with a free strategy workbook so this doesn’t become one of those “great webinar, 47 tabs opened, changed nothing” situations. 😉

How you talk about AI internally matters

You can give everyone access to the latest AI tools, but that doesn't mean they'll feel comfortable using them. This piece looks at the role leaders play in shaping how employees perceive AI, and it made me think about how much influence internal comms has in that process, too. Clear expectations, honest conversations about what's changing, opportunities to ask questions, and a little empathy can go a long way.

4 mindsets shaping how your leaders communicate

In this podcast episode, Ryan Gottfredson explores four mindsets that influence how leaders respond to feedback, failure, change, and the people around them.

For internal communicators, I especially liked the focus on being willing to hear what you don't want to hear. When part of your job is bringing employee perspectives into the room, helping leaders navigate tough feedback, or communicating through change, understanding the mindset behind those conversations can be just as important as getting the message right.
